NewTypeCast

NewTypeCast is a weekly podcast about six topics: science, politics, business, sports, gaming and entertainment (but we’re open to varying it up) by two friends from New England.  NewTypeCast formed when Tom and Cole both realized they loved new media and wanted more of it. It felt like there is an elephant in the room as most podcasts focus on just technology and while we may be geeks, technology is not what defines us.

We’re the new media equivalent of a good call in radio talk show, not demagogues like a Rush Limbaugh or Bill O’Reilly and not passive like NPR. We are that healthy medium, an even handed discussion which is not afraid to become debate. We are not devoid of passion and yet we manage to not spend an hour yelling in your’s and our ears.
